How To Stay Motivated Throughout Your Hectic Schedule

We all have experienced the lack of motivation at a point of time in our hectic life. With our busy lifestyle and schedules, it is really easy for us to get a little stressed and feel demotivated as well.   • Make A To-do-list

You should try making a daily task list that is going to help you structure your entire day. This way you can stick to the schedule and make your workload feel more manageable. Although, you should set realistic goals along with rough time frames so that you do not feel bad if unable to complete your daily tasks.

  • Avoid Multitasking

You might not be having the luxury of completing a single thing at a given point in time, but you should try to make everything that you do with complete dedication without switching back and forth with the tasks. You can set time limits to the task so that you will be able to focus more on the task in hand rather than worrying about the other task.

This might not be possible if there is anything that needs urgent attention which is why you should try to make your schedule flexible.

  • Moreover, the faster you reply the shorter the reply can be. This is why if you are unable to respond to any email properly you can type a quick reply that you will get back shortly which is a good way to avoid useless explanations.

  • Once in a while, you should do an extensive inbox cleanup. You can archive or delete all the useless and promotional emails. You can unsubscribe to all the newsletters that you do not read as well.

  • You can use canned responses so that you can avoid typing the same thing over and over again. You can even use filters so that you only get the relevant emails in the primary box.

Managing Meeting

  • As for the meetings you should never allot unnecessary time out of your schedule. You should try to plan all your meetings beforehand as well.

  • You can even try to arrange all your meetings back to back. This way you would not have to switch between work mode and meeting mode that often. Moreover, a meeting-free day should be there in your week so that you do not get overwhelmed by the constant pressure and talks.

Mastering Time Management

  • You should build your schedule based upon the time best suited to each task. You can do important work in the morning as you are really active and energetic at that time.

  • As you waste time in between your meetings, try to complete small tasks during that break time. This way you will save yourself a lot of time for other important work at the end of the day.

  • Make sure to use social media sensibly. Getting on social media is one of the biggest reasons of time wastage.
